The Classic Wizza Crust Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tapioca flour (~240 mL)
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour (~60 mL)
  • 1 tsp baking powder (~5 mL)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (~2.5 mL)
  • 2 large eggs (or 1/2 cup egg whites for extra crunch)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the tapioca flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs, water, and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until you have a smooth batter.
  4. Lightly grease the waffle iron with oil or non-stick spray.
  5. Pour enough batter into the waffle iron to cover the surface, then close the lid and cook for about 3-5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
